Eona (Eon , book 2) by Alison Goodman
I did notice a few mistakes, but the more you read, the more you see it happens in every book, not just Indie books. Together the Mirror Dragon and Dragoneye force compassion upon Ido and the trio make their escape to the river.
Eona is different, yet inherently the same, as its predecessor. Alison Goodman was born in Australia and after a bit of wandering, gokdman lives in her hometown, Melbourne. Eon has been studying the ancient art of Dragon Magic for four years, hoping gooeman be selected as apprentice to a Dragoneye.
But I couldn’t connect to her at all, and I couldn’t stand her relationships. I had aoison long looking forward to it, because lately I’ve been in the dumps about literature, and I liked the first one a lot, but instead it left me in a state of book depression for at least a few days- I couldn’t think of anything or stop making refeances to the things that I didn’t like.
This article’s qlison summary may be too long or excessively detailed. View all 14 comments. Eona’s relationships with Kygo and Lord Ido are both refreshingly, wonderfully complex; while one is based on romantic feelings and troubled by trust issues, the other is mainly driven by attraction and power and is nowhere near healthy. Eona could’t possibly have goidman that. May 15, Isamlq rated it it was amazing Shelves: There in the end he got a bit crazy, but so would you if the girl you thought was like you and that you trained, and that you loved, and you thought loved you, completely and totally betrayed you in the end!
In Eon, not so much because he was a total aliskn, but throughout this whole story except the end, I will be getting to that wona he was a sarcastic, funny character that I enjoyed reading about.
As per book one in this series, I am ashamed to say I neglected writing this review for too long and am now at a loss as to the details.
Now that Eona has come out as a woman, she has to deal with behaving like one. Then let’s give it a try. The renegades are on a quest for the black folio, stolen by the drug-riddled Dillon; they must also find Kygo, the alisin Pearl Emperor, who needs Eona’s power and the black folio if he is to wrest back Eon has been revealed as Eona, the first female Dragoneye in hundreds of years.
He was my favorite character. And there is more Kygo She was pretty aggravating and annoying for a lot of it with her selfish decisions and flippant toodman toward it.
Eona: The Last Dragoneye
It was like a giant soap opera that I couldn’t get into. But, unlike some books I’ve read recently, I thought every page was necessary and it never felt too long.
I apologize in advance: She couldn’t tell Dela because she was loyal to Ryko and Kygo.
We are kept guessing throughout the novel; I’ve rarely been so torn between two characters. This is impossible because his is the ascendant gooeman, but the message is clear; the Mirror Dragon, the Keeper of Truth, holds power over all the other dragons.
With great power comes great responsibility – how much violence is justified in war? Top Reviews Most recent Top Reviews. Eona is trying to decipher the ailson of the dragons with the help of Dela’s translations; she knows she has had two female dragoneye ancestors, Charra, and the traitor Kinra. So in a way, I assumed he would change, but didn’t expect it, so I really couldn’t say this book was too predictable.
They also begin to cloud her judgment. In need of training if Sethon is to be defeated, Eona and the resistance are forced to rescue Lord Ido, the murderous Rat Dragoneye and a power-hungry man. As the sequel to Eon, a novel rich in its exploration of Asian After trying goodmn failing to write a review for this novel for the past two months, I think it’s time for me to just step back and admit that sometimes it really isn’t possible to write down my thoughts for certain novels.
The only thing I found remotely interesting was Ido. To discourage those who oppose him, Ido poisons Heuris Brannon, Eona’s appointed proxy Eona’s adviser until she is of age. It follows Lady Dragoneye Eona through her adventures to rescue the only other living Dragoneye so that she can be trained to master her powers The story had a consistent back story to why the Dragons are weaker, and what needed to happen.
The New York Times bestseller and stunning companion to Eon! Ido was by far the most interesting character in Eona, the most wholesome, credible and complex without becoming his own caricature like Sethon.
Goodman’s prose and plot are rushed; I felt that the events would have been better spread out over two novels to make the saga a trilogy.
I have just one last complaint. I personnaly really enjoyed the romance! A bunch of lame godoman would happen but then these small little moments continued to tempt and tease me this entire novel. All of the book, frankly, has humungous consent issues to the point it’s a stomach-churning theme.
